Well it has been a long time since I have played poker... about 4 months (with the exception of one session, but far from my past habits of playing 40+ hours a week).
As most of you probably don't know, I was on a huge roller coaster at the end and lost my entire bankroll. Which in and of itself wasn't a huge deal, I have done that before. I always play above my means, over-extending my bankroll, but I don't have enough discipline to stop myself. The last time was extremely difficult though, because I was going to pull most of my bankroll to pay for my downpayment on a house I just bought. I had built my bankroll up above $20k, and my greed got the best of me and put me in a worse situation than I was in to begin with.
So here we start again... While very much in debt, I have allocated some money to begin playing online again. Hoping that this time might be different, that maybe I could constantly build my bankroll back to where it was and beyond. Well, there is only one way to find out... Hitting the $5/$10 tables on FT in a few minutes... will keep anyone interested up to date on my progress, or lack thereof. |
