| Played this interesting BJ variation in Tunica the other week. You play shoe balck jack, and have an optional side bet. Your two up cards, plus the dealer's up card forms to make a three card poker hand. If you have a viable three card poker hand, three of a kind, straight, flush, or straight flush, you get paid 9-1. Anyone else played this thing yet? Obviously, the odds of hitting these hands is less than 9-1, and probably in the realm of 25-1, but it was a nice little game, having the entire table rooting for the up card of someone who has a chance to make a three card hand was a lot of fun. |

Hehe, interesting and a nice break from regular poker/blackjack, but I sometimes find that all the variations and extras can inhibit a game slightly and make thigns more complicated than it needs to be.
I'm game to give it a go, but I wouldn't want to play it on a regular basis. |
