hi there,
When playing NL Ring games, how do you determine when you will quit? Do you set a time limit, or do you play until you win/lose a certain amount?
thanks,

| Setting a goal is sometimes what I do. I go in a NL room and say when i win 50 or 100 or whatever and I will leave. Again, this depends on the opponents at the table and whether or not I feel I have the advantage. |

I never set a goal as it can put you on tilt if you feel you are falling behind your targets. Think of it this way, you can panic when you lose money, right? Well, you can panic if you're not making it too, and make you play hands that you.. perhaps shouldn't.
My advice is to play it how it comes - some nights you win, some nights you lose, some nights you win big and some nights you come out even. Take the rough with the smooth and perhaps set a more general target in being up x-amount for the week rather than the hour or the night. |
