Ok...I play in a home game 3-4 times a week with the same 3 people, although other friends play from time to time. I am not bragging, but I am the best poker player out of the four. I am the only one who cares enought to get better and reads books, and comes on this forum. I understand some advanced strategy, seat position, etc.

My question is, if you had your choice, where would you want to sit at my table? I am tight agressive. Tyler is loose agressive (raise any pot with anything, take you to the river with K high, etc..) but he is not a bad player. Brett is tight aggressive and is probably the second best player. He gives me the most challenge. Tara is loose passive and a calling station, but she runs into more cards than I care to mention here. If you could arrange the table any way you want, where would you seat everyone?

Just so you know I'm not talking out my ass about the level of the players, over the last month (we just started keeping track) I am up $35, Brett is up $10, Tyler is down $5 and Tara is down $15. They don't add to zero because I have won a decent amount from other players coming over.

I would sit to the left of Tyler, this way you can raise him and isolate him and to the right of Brett. This way if Brett calls you or reraises, your prolly beat.

Imagine our surprise. [Wink] I'd do the same thing as BBK above. Loose player to your right, tight to your left - and stick Tara wherever she wants to sit, just make sure she comes with money.

This is exactly where I have sat almost every night we play. Sometimes Tyler and Tara switch spots for whatever reason, but Brett is always on my left. The only thing I worry about is having a decent player behind me, but it sure is better than having a loose cannon behind me.
