| ok here goes....we were playing heads up texas hold'em and he gets a King & 7 and I get a 7 & 8 the flop comes 7 - 10 - 8 then the turn is a 10 and the river is a 7 who would win this hand ? i know he has a king kicker but does that matter since its the best of 5 cards? any help? thanks |

| Its a split pot. Its the best 5 cards. You both have 7s full. |

How come the easy ones are never around by the time I get here?
Best 5 cards, I'm assuming the kicker only comes into play if there was a situation such as each player had the same two pair, then the kicker would make up the 5th card hence decide the pot? |
