When playing NL Holdem what is the minimum raise?
For example if you are playing 50/100 blinds and someone raises to 200, what is the minimum re-raise? Or is there? Can it be 201? |

No matter if its no limit or limit, tournament or ring game the amount of the raise must atleast double the amount of the bet...IE in No Limit your the big blind and the small blind has bet $100, you must then bet a minimum of $200 to raise.
The only exception to the double the original bet to raise rule is if someone is going all in then they can of course only raise the amount in front of them. |

Hi johnf you must at least double the previous bet or raise, unless you're all-in.
I hope it helps. |

| even without having to raise as much as was bet, most would be hard pressed to really think of a scenario where they would want to raise less than the amount that has been bet. |

They are the kind of people that want to test the water, and should be bet out of the hand immediately |
