Hello

Im wondering if anyone here has played in any poker tournaments either local or online? I played in a few tournaments and found that it was really differnt from playing online a lot more pressure.

Anyone else would like to share?

Not that I know of, though I agree with the increased pressure on table games. I like the edge of playing against people you can see, people you can watch.

It does get a lot more tense though, you see people getting nervous and adrenaline kicks in a bit. Much more of a thrill I've found, though at least online you can leave via a little x, you don't have to walk through a crowd of people after losing online!

You mean people watching, waiting on your next move, looking into your eyes for tells...

Yes there is much more pressure, though great play feels so much more rewarding because people nod at you and look in appreciation. Online play tends to bury the great plays and magnify the crap ones that got lucky.
